The Department of Political Science and History at the University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for a tenure track position in Modern European History since 1700, beginning in the fall of 2017. All geographical areas, including Russia and the British Isles, will be considered, along with all topical concentrations.
The position is at the Assistant Professor level and is contingent upon funding. Ph.D. in hand required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain a record of research, advise students, and serve the department, college, and university. Salary is competitive and based upon experience.
