Assistant Professor of Latin American History
The Department of History at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Latin American and Caribbean history. Area and period of research specialty are open, but we are particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on Mexican history. Candidates whose research and teaching focus on Latin American history with intersecting interests in fields such as U.S.-Mexico Border Studies, Afro-Latinx Studies, Critical Race Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Transnational Studies, or Diasporic Studies are especially welcome.
