Associate/Full/Distinguished Professor, Hall Professor in British History
The University of Kansas seeks an associate, full, or distinguished professor of the history of slavery in the British Atlantic World. We define the British Atlantic World broadly as an area that spans the British Isles, the Americas, and Africa.  We define the history of slavery expansively, including but not limited to ideologies, economies, institutions, lived experience, race, identity, and gender.  The successful applicant will complement and enhance departmental strength in Early American, colonial Latin American, African, and early modern European history.  This position is a full-time, academic year (9-month) appointment, beginning August 18, 2022.
