Assistant Professor of African American or Africana Diaspora History
 Position Details: The Department of History at Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in African American or Africana Diasporic history to begin in fall 2022.  The successful applicant will take an active part both in the history department and in a thriving multidisciplinary Black Studies program.  Primary teaching responsibilities will include teaching 20-22 credit hours per year (typically seven courses) in history, the Black Studies program, and general education. History courses will include a survey of African American history as well as introductory and advanced courses particular to the candidate’s field of expertise.
