About Bard Early Colleges / Bard High School Early College
Bard Early College is a multi-campus network of Bard College established to provide adolescents in American public school systems with the chance to go farther and faster than the status quo allows. Bard Early College serves approximately 3,000 students at seven degree-granting campuses and a growing number of partnership programs through which students can complete up to one year of college. Our model is premised on the belief that many adolescents are ready and eager to start college at an earlier age. Empowering them to do so during the last two years of high school in a supportive environment inspires love of learning and civic and intellectual engagement and propels students towards success in college and beyond.
