Assistant Professor in Medieval European History
The Department of History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a specialist for a Medieval European History position to be appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor beginning August 2023. The candidate must have the ability to offer survey courses in Europe and in the World before 1500 CE, as well as upper-level courses in Medieval European History. Candidates will be asked to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. A Ph.D. in History is required. The Ph.D. must be in hand by August 14, 2023. Candidates must demonstrate a record of scholarship and training in Medieval European History and/or a teaching record supporting the ability to offer survey courses in Europe and in the World before 1500 CE, as well as upper-level and graduate courses.
