Assistant Professor, Black Diaspora in North America and/or African American History
The History Department offers history courses to undergraduate students in a variety of different geographical areas and periods, taught by our twelve faculty members. Our classes are writing and reading intensive with rigorous in-class discussions, and opportunities to participate in hands-on historical research, service-learning projects, and internships. Faculty and students appreciate the small class sizes and close relationships they develop. All of our 80-100 history majors are required to engage in a senior capstone project, a 25-30 page paper based on primary source research and integration of secondary source materials.
