Tenure Track - Assistant Professor of Asian American History
The Department of History at Williams College seeks to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in Asian American history, to begin during the 2023-24 academic year. In exceptional cases, a more advanced appointment may be considered. The Department welcomes all methodological approaches and thematic specializations. The candidate should be a dedicated scholar with a Ph.D. in hand or expected by September 2023. The teaching load in the department is 2-2 plus a January-term course every other year, and faculty have considerable autonomy in developing the curriculum in their fields.
