History of Pre-Modern Science (antiquity to ca. 1700) The Department of the History of Science and Technology at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position (open rank) in the history of pre-modern science (antiquity to ca. 1700) focusing on the European area, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2023. Candidates should have an outstanding scholarly record and teaching experience, or show significant promise of excellence in academic research, publication, and teaching. The position involves teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as the supervision of graduate students in our Ph.D. program.
