The Honors College at the University of Houston invites applications for the promotion-eligible position of Instructional Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2023. Disciplinary expertise is open, however applicants should demonstrate how their teaching and research interests lie within the health and medical humanities, broadly construed. The successful candidate will teach small Honors sections of the “Readings in Medicine and Society” each semester. This is the foundation course in the interdisciplinary Medicine and Society minor, one of the Honors College’s seven interdisciplinary minors.
