Assistant Professor of Southwest Borderlands History
The History Department at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Southwest Borderlands History, at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in Fall 2023. Period of specialization is open. Located approximately 50 miles north of the US-Mexico border, CSUSM serves students from a diverse range of backgrounds that reflect North County San Diego. CSUSM is a designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, and Hispanic/Latina/o/x students make up approximately half of the student body (48%). More American Indian students attend CSUSM per capita than any other CSU campus.
