Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, Nebraska, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of History (tenure-track) to start August 2023. Ph.D. or Advanced ABD in History Commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts university is expected among strong candidates. Anticipated responsibilities include teaching 21 credit hours per year (Fall and Spring) of undergraduate courses. Courses could include American Race Relations, Native American History, Nebraska History, American West, Introduction to Historical Methods, Writing and Research Seminar, and introductory courses on the history of the United States. Candidates may also develop courses in their ar
