Lecturer I, MIT Ancient and Medieval Studies Program
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s History and Literature Faculties invite applications for a jointly-appointed full-time Lecturer in Ancient and Medieval Studies (AMS) with a focus on Greek language, literature, and history.  We seek an experienced educator who complements the research and teaching excellence in AMS, an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that draws students and faculty from across the core disciplines of History, Literature, Architecture, Music, and Philosophy. The ideal candidate has at least two years of teaching experience at the university level. Master’s is required; a PhD in Classics or a related field (degree in hand by June 30, 2023) is preferred.  The primary responsibility is teaching three subjects each semester. Courses to be tau
