Visiting Assistant Professor of History
The Department of History at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position in History at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023. We welcome applicants with specializations in Middle East, Latin America, Jewish diaspora, South Asia and/or Public History. The successful applicant will teach six undergraduate courses per year, including introductory surveys and mid-level courses. Candidates able to teach courses within their fields on race and ethnicity, indigenous peoples, gender, disability, empire and postcolonialism, and environmental topics are especially encouraged to apply.
