Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure): Visiting Lecturer
Position Description The Department of History, College of Arts and Sciences, at Texas A&M University, College Station seeks a full-time, non-tenure track instructor for a one year position, 9-months, that is not renewable at the rank of Visiting Lecturer. Candidate must be prepared teach a 4-4 course-load starting in the 2023-24 academic year. The teaching assignments involve primarily the first and second half of the U.S. History survey. Candidates who can contribute occasional courses in legal history and/or public history are highly encouraged to apply. The bulk of teaching will take place in a traditional, face-to-face format, although candidates will occasionally be required to offer online U.S. History surveys.
