Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics (Ancient History)
UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER, Department of Religion and Classics, invites applications for a two-year appointment as non-tenure Assistant Professor of Classics beginning in Fall 2023. Specialization: The department seeks candidates whose research area is ancient history, with a specialization in Greek or Roman history. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to a small but thriving undergraduate Classics program at a leading research institution. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in Greek and Roman history and culture at all undergraduate levels. The ability to teach Greek or Latin language courses is also desirable.
