Assistant Professor, Korean History
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures (EALC) and the Department of History at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invite applications for a tenure-track position in Korean History at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin August 16, 2024. We welcome applications from scholars whose research explores any topic or period within Korean history, but priority will be given to applicants whose research and teaching interests show a deep engagement with Korea’s late-Joseon, colonial, and/or postcolonial periods.
