The history department at Colby College seeks applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Modern Atlantic World History (1-year sabbatical replacement), with a preferred focus on (but not exclusively) intellectual history, histories of race, gender, and sexuality, and histories of trans-Atlantic slavery, migration, trade, and empire, beginning July 1, 2024. The department is especially interested in scholars whose work is not focused on North America.
