The History Department of Trinity University seeks a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in the History of East Asia, beginning August 2024. The position is open to candidates in any sub-field or period of East Asian history. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. They will teach 5 courses during the academic year, including an East Asian history survey and courses in their area of specialization, to support the curricular needs of the department and the Pathways general education curriculum.
