Visiting Assistant Professor of History
The Bates College Department of History invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of History with a specialization in the history of Sub-Saharan Africa, beginning August 1, 2024. The successful candidate will teach five courses, consisting of an introductory survey of African history, an upper-level seminar on Apartheid, and three mid-level courses related to their areas of expertise that complement the existing curricular and scholarly strengths of the college.
