The Department of History at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for a Temporary Assistant Professor of Modern European History with an emphasis in the 20th century and any region. This is a one-year term appointment, renewable for a second year, depending on performance and availability of funds. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching six courses per year, including the second half of the European History survey (HIST 1110), as well as a selection of our existing upper division courses, as appropriate to the candidate’s area of specialization and departmental needs. The anticipated start date of the position is August 2024.  This position is located at USU’s main campus in Logan, and is not eligible for remote work. Link to apply:
