Instructional Professor (open-rank) of Korean Studies
Description The Department of History at the University of Chicago invites applications for an Instructional Professor at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full in Korean History. This is a new, full-time, teaching position. The initial term of appointment will be from three to five years, depending on rank and with a start date no later than September 2025, renewable based on a performance review. The salary is competitive and includes benefits. The successful candidate will teach a total of six courses per year. Four of these courses will be in the 3-quarter East Asian Civilizations sequence.
