Modern European History
The Department of History at Williams College seeks to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in Modern European history, to begin during the 2025-26 academic year.  The successful candidate will have considerable autonomy in developing the curriculum in their field, with the expectation that they regularly teach a survey course in modern European history. The standard teaching load at Williams is four courses each year (2-2) plus a January term course every other year.
