The Yale University Department of History intends to appoint a tenure-track assistant professor in Modern European History to begin on July 1, 2025, with a preference for applicants focused on Western Europe and excluding those focused on Central and Eastern Europe as well as Russia. Applicants should have strong potential for excellence and achievement in scholarship and in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
