The Department of History at the University of Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the history of modern Russia and/or Russian empire, late nineteenth century to the present, including the late imperial, Soviet, and/or post-Soviet periods. This is a university-year appointment with an expected start date of August 25, 2025. The department has a 2/2 teaching load.
