The Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University, is recruiting for a tenured position at the rank of professor. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment position with an anticipated start date of August 01, 2025. All relevant specializations will be considered. The successful candidate will have an established record of distinguished historical scholarship; maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda; teach undergraduate and graduate courses; recruit, train, and mentor exceptional graduate students; provide leadership in university and professional affairs. A successful candidate will be nominated to hold the Melbern G. Glasscock Endowed Chair in American History.
