Job Description The History Department at Wake Forest University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in African-American history, beginning July 2025. The successful candidate is expected to have completed their PhD by July 1, 2025. The job carries a teaching load of 9 courses over 4 semesters. Area of research specialty is geographically, temporally, and methodologically open. Teaching responsibilities include an introductory-level survey course (examples of such classes can be found here), a two semester survey of Afr
