The Department of History and Geography in the College of Liberal Arts, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History specializing in the Ancient or Medieval Mediterranean World with expertise in Digital Humanities.
Requirements
PhD. in History or related field (by time of appointment)
Geographical focus on the Mediterranean World, including North Africa, the Middle East, and/or Europe
Demonstrated effectiveness in, or a strong preparation for, teaching courses in Ancient and Medieval history.
Demonstrated expertise in theories and tools of Digital Humanities
