Position Description The Department of History and the Environmental Studies Program at Tulane University invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Environmental History. The position is open in terms of geographic scope, time period, and topic. Teaching experience is preferred. The appointment will begin July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will have a tenure home in the History Department and a joint appointment in the Environmental Studies (EVST) Program, with teaching and service divided equally between the two units.
