The Department of History and Geography in the Elon College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position in Environmental History, to begin mid-August 2025. The position is open in terms of geographic scope, time period, and thematic expertise; however, we are particularly interested in applicants whose work has a transnational or global dimension, who demonstrate innovative methodologies of historical research (digital and spatial humanities), and who think in an integrated way about environmental history and its place across disciplinary boundaries.
