The Department of History and the College of Liberal Arts at Temple University invite applications for a tenured full-time endowed faculty position in American Jewish History at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be named the Murray Friedman Chair of American Jewish History.    The appointee will also serve as director of the Feinstein Center for American Jewish History. The Center organizes academic conferences and workshops and public-facing events in addition to overseeing a summer research initiative to support new scholars in the field.
