Overview The Department of History, Cultures, and Ideas at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for a tenure-track, nine-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Classical Studies. We are looking for a generalist with a strength in Roman history. The successful applicant will teach in our general education program, as well as courses at all levels of Greek and Latin as well as upper-division and graduate courses in classical civilization and languages. The department seeks a highly motivated teacher and researcher to join a vibrant community of scholars at our Logan campus.
