The African American Studies Program at Florida State University invites applications for a permanent 9-month, non-tenure track Specialized Teaching Faculty I position, effective August 2023. We are looking for a scholar with a passion for teaching and the ability to help us expand our department’s course offerings in exciting new ways. Successful candidates will be expected to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses.  We are open to a broad range of research specializations that center the Black experience.
