SUNY Cortland’s History Department seeks applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in modern US history at the Assistant Professor rank beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate should have research and teaching fields in 20th century US history. Subfields are open, but the department invites applications from candidates with expertise in the history of social/political movements, the civil rights and labor movements, and/or the latter-20th century.
