The Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time tenured Associate Professor of Environmental History, with an emphasis on questions of law, justice, or governance, to begin in the fall of 2026. We encourage applications from scholars whose work addresses any time period or place, but successful applicants will extend and expand department strengths in multiple research areas and be willing to engage in intellectual exchange connected to borderlands studies.
