Postdoctoral Associate in Middle Eastern History
The MIT History Section invites applications for two 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowships in Middle Eastern History offered as part of a new History of Now Initiative. These inaugural fellowships will run from July 2026 to July 2028. We seek outstanding junior scholars whose research engages Arab and/or Jewish History in the Middle East and North Africa, in any time period. We have particular interest in scholars working on Palestinian and/or Israeli history or the history of Jewish-Muslim relations. Position Details Full-time, two-year appointment Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in History (or a related field) within the past five years and no later than July 2026
