Assistant Professor – Middle Eastern History/Israel Studies
The Department of History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for an assistant professor whose research focuses on the study of Israel and/or the Middle East. The successful candidate will have a 2-2 teaching load and will serve as the Director of the Schwalb Center for Israel & Jewish Studies. As a tenure-track faculty member, the successful candidate’s duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, maintaining an active research portfolio, and service to the faculty member’s department, college, and university. Anticipated start date is August 2026.
