The Department of History at Cornell University invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship (appointment title: Postdoctoral Associate). Preferred area of research is pre-1800 History with an emphasis either on religions or on climate and environment, but we will consider outstanding applicants in all areas of History. We are particularly interested in applicants committed to enriching the undergraduate teaching mission of the College of Arts & Sciences.
