Lecturer in Modern Middle East History
The Program in Middle East Studies at Smith College invites applications for a one-year, full-time lecturer in modern Middle East History to begin July 1, 2022.  The successful candidate will teach five courses during the 2022-2023 academic year on the modern history of the Middle East and North Africa, including an introductory course on modern history of the Middle East and a course focused on women and gender in the Middle East. A Ph.D. in History, or in Middle East Studies with relevant expertise, is required. Eligibility is limited to those who have received the Ph.D. within the past five years.
