Assistant Professor in Modern European History
The History Department at Wake Forest University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in History with a focus on modern Western Europe from the late 18th century through the 20th century, beginning July 1, 2024. The area of specialization is open, but we particularly seek candidates who will offer a broad range of courses, including, but not limited to, those that focus on French and/or German history in the modern period. The department is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community at Wake Forest University.
