Assistant Professor, African American History
The History Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an Assistant Professor in African American history. We seek applications from outstanding candidates whose research and teaching interests focus on the 19th and/or 20th centuries. We expect that the person hired for this position would have research interests focused on the United States and be able to offer some United States-focused courses (including at least one half of the African American history survey).
