The History Department at Missouri State University is searching for an instructor whose primary teaching duties will include our second-year writing course, U.S. History Surveys, and occasional upper-level classes in their specialty. The position will begin on August 12, 2024. The successful candidate will teach seated and online classes. A Ph. D in History or a related field should be had at the time of hire. At least two years of experience in teaching college-level historical writing and research is required.  Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with diverse faculty, staff, and students is required.
