The Mississippi State University Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in 19^th and/or 20^th Century European Technology, beginning August 16, 2025. Teaching responsibilities are two courses per semester. Offerings include a regular turn in the History of Technology survey and undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of expertise. The Department of History at Mississippi State University is the editorial home of Environmental History, War and History and Early American Studies. It houses the US Grant Presidential Library and the Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana.
