The Social Sciences Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago is now accepting applications for a full-time Instructional Professor who will teach in the Social Sciences Core sequence Self, Culture, and Society. Self, Culture, and Society is a three-quarter sequence that fulfills the University’s general education requirement in the social sciences. The sequence introduces students to a broad range of social scientific theories and methodologies that deepen their understanding of basic problems of cultural, social, and historical existence.
