The Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at Simon Fraser University invites applications for the Farley Distinguished Visiting Scholar in History for the 2025–2026 academic year. The Farley Distinguished Visiting Scholar is dedicated to the teaching of history, broadly construed, which is understood to include studies of the past, including the recent past, carried out within the departments and programs of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.  The Farley Distinguished Visiting Scholar is appointed as a Visiting Faculty Member for up to two terms in an academic year. SFU operates year-round, with Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
