The University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invite applications for the position of C. Maxwell and Elizabeth M. Stanley Family and Hua Hsia Chair in Chinese Culture and Institutions. The successful candidate will be appointed as a full professor with tenure to commence in August, 2022. The position will be situated in a department appropriate to the specialization of the candidate, where normal review process, assignment of teaching duties, and responsibility for mentorship etc. will reside. The position is an endowed chair with a reduced teaching load and a research fund. The
chair will also hold a 0% appointment in International Programs and is expected to be an active participant in the activities of the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies.
